Fluvia buys Peacock shares

10-09-2007
On 31 August 2007 Fluvia Holding BV acquired the shares of Peacock Container BV, Rotterdam.

Peacock rents or leases out tank containers for short and long term periods. Tank containers are offered in 20' and 30' sizes, capacities from 15,500 to 35,000 litres, a.o. SWAP bodies, refrigerated and heated, etc.

After the MBO in 2003 Peacock experienced a strong growth and has proven itself to be a reliable partner in the European tank container leasing market with a fleet of approx. 1,600 tank containers.

The activities of Peacock and Fluvia combine perfectly and will provide opportunities for Peacock to develop.

Equipped by the current staff Peacock will operate as a separate organisation within Fluvia. Cees Roozemond will manage the daily operations. Rick van Westenbrugge, managing partner of Fluvia, will take up the responsibility as managing director of Peacock.

For the time being Peacock's office details remain unchanged, however, in the near future the office will be integrated in the Fluvia office at Brielselaan 85 in Rotterdam.
