Rotterdam, 8 July 2008

Fluvia sold its 40% stake in Maas Silo's terminal in Rotterdam to HES Beheer and Noble Group for a total amount of approx. EUR 7 million.
The funds from this sale will be used to quicken Fluvia's strategy to acquire mayor positions within Europe in specific niche markets for transport and storage of liquid bulk products.

Fluvia will:
•    speed up the expansion and modernisation of its inland tanker fleet
•    develop niche-terminals in the main European ports following the Maastank terminal model in Rotterdam
•    expand Peacock's current capacity of the tank container fleet (1,600 units) at 10% p.a.

Fluvia’s CEO Rick van Westenbrugge concludes: “The proceeds of the sale of Fluvia's stake in Maas Silo will be used to strongly expand Fluvia's position in transport of liquid bulk products. Thus enabling Fluvia to enlarge its tailor-made service to its clients in the oil, chemical, food and processing industries.”
